Any Pokémon Players Around?

Weren't bad. Not as advanced as on the PS3, but I have it on there if I want to play it. Dude, if you want to check it out, there is a demo on the e-shop. Just check the grass and stuff in 3D. Something awesome.

I actually have the demo on my 3DS, just haven't gotten round to trying it out.

3D in MSG is ffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, so deep omg.

Also screw it I think I will get Pokemon White at BT Games when my petrol claims clear today or tomorrow.
Woot, more long games added to my list, as if GW2, HoN and Diablo3 isnt already eternal lol. My SP games is already suffering.

Get that stuff dude. Lots and lots of fun.

Well I did a quick online shopping comparison between 7 stores and I'm afraid to say this but:

Look and Listen is the cheapest :(

Avenged have you got a Boldore you would trade? I want mine to evolve but I see that only happens when you trade So I thought I would check here before going to global trade.

Do you mean for Pokemon games or am I missing something?

Yeah. SoulSilver and HeartGold are R280 each. about R80 cheaper than the next best place I could find. Come the 1st of October and I'l get myself both.

All ready blew this month's gaming budget on handbags.

What has changed in the series? Last game I played was Silver on GB.

Would you rather suggest I go with black/white?

I'll have a look when I get home. On a side note, I think you might have already surpassed me, which means that I'll have to get my ass into gear.

Good to hear. White was my first Pokemon game ever (3DS was my very first handheld console. Perhaps I might pick one of those up as well then). Having said that, people reckon that Black/White has many updated features that encouraged them to get the game, but many people also complain that the Pokemon in Black/White are not as good as in previous games.

Im in Mistralton City on my wait to celestial tower or something. I have 2 teams, 12 or 13, in total that are around lvl 30. These are the ones I play with most. We should look at which ones evolve when traded and then trade them amongst our selves.

Ja dude, sounds like a good idea. Will check that stuff out either tonight or on the weekend.

What level is your main team?

What do you mean main team? I only have one team. Also, not too sure what the general level is. I'll have to get that checked out.

First Pokemon game and I don't have that much experience with it. Oshawott is now lvl 39/40 (the last time I played) and the rest of my Pokemons are about level 28-30. Only at Nimbasa City now...

You mean you only have six pokemon that you actively battle with? O.o I take it they are a type diverse bunch then?

I have 2 teams, want to start building up a 3rd. I like have the maximum number of pokemon at max locational level. Currently that is lvl 30. SO what I do is get my main team (fav pokemon) up to the level then I take a second team of slightly less fav ones and get them up. Gives me best changes when face certain type of pokemon. I learned this tactic while I played the Trading Card Game. Had 12 decks that could take on pretty much any one. Since most people stuck with the pre-made decks knowing them backwards and forwards means I could counter them perfectly. I also took to putting different decks in different boxes so someone would challenge me with a brush fire or something and I would take out the a box that use to hold a weak deck in the meantime it has the perfect brush fire counter deck.

Yeah, I literally have one team that I use. But I do keep secondary Pokemon for certain types that I am not 100% comfortable yet. I am planning to get some more though, but I am not really in the right area of the game to get that sort of stuff done.

Yeah trying to level grind early is a bitch. I've spent most of this week getting my second team, made up mostly of electric types, up from low twenties to 34. Where is I had surf or a fishing rod it would have been super easy. At least this has helped me come to grips with some of the newer pokemon.

Yeah I need to start getting a decent team together and do some grinding. What I do is I take 3 Pokemon that I am acquainted with and 3 unknown and go grind some levels. This helps me level up my existing ones and learn a little more about the ones that I know nothing about.

Once you get the lucky egg, which boosts XP, it does get easier. Also avoid using XP share.

Yeah I have learned my lesson with XP Share. Really doesn't make it worth while for the Pokemon that you are actively using in battle.

What was your starter?
