Well I'll wait to see but let me enlighten everyone in regards to CPU usage and Requirements.
Certain games have recommend specs for a specific reason, using Quad core as an example, it does not have as much to do with the speed of the actual CPU ( Core2Duo etc) as much as it means that the game relies on the architecture used in those specific CPU's.
From a hosting point of view for instance, HoN has a quad core as a recommended CPU for the server, we tested a Dual Core system that is actually faster than the recommended spec but the game would simply not run correctly.
This was due to timing, on certain CPU's, specifically Dual Cores, the Cores use a specific type of timing to handle calculations etc.Quad cores use a completely different system, this game simply could not function on a Dual Core.
Same goes for specific games on the client side.
AMD uses their own type of Core Timing, Bioshock was the first title to exploit this as it shipped with a Dual core Optimzer for AMD CPU's, allowing the timing to be set via an external application.
Without this applciation, the game would simply not work on the system, no matter how fast the CPU's were.
So let's wait and see, I doubt that this will be the case with the BF series, but its always a possibility.
