Basically you bind a combination of keys together or certain mouse movements.

U can't prove someone is using macro's so what help is it banning it. Also to0ken, regarding the Rat and Razer etc. They are building the hax into the mouse drivers of these big guys and that is what is doing that crap :(

Fact remains hacking is very very big in BF3 everywhere its is really spoiling gaming in a big degree. There are very new top international tournies going around for BF3 atm and its all thanks to the massive hacking the game has. Very very sad and annoys me bigtime :(
 
So at the time of my BF3 crash yesterday my GPU was running at 64degC. That's not high enough for it to overheat. So something else is up. Any other ideas? :)

My PC froze dead when it got to around 50-60celsius while playing BF3.

Underclock still solved it for me and i still get well over 100fps on competitive graphic settings.

Yes I had the same problem. I underclocked my gfx card. But then my pc died and I gave my friend my power supply which was a 560 odin. Now I have a I think a 750 watt. And seems to have solved the overclocked issue all together.

So might be your power supply.

Anyway, I was being serious about the Rat7 mouse. The other night we saw a tutorial video of how to bind macros with that mouse so you can fire without any recoil whatsoever. I think lots of people use methods like these instead of the cheats we all know. I think that should be illegal as well, but I swear to god people use macros in this game. Only thing about this is, you would never know and there's no way of detecting it.

This can be detected by UAC and punkbuster. In fact UAC used to ban people using macros. But this is not the case anymore. It is not seen as a cheat atm.
 
Playing in Métro very early this morning... Was playing very good, for once... But my teammates ugh... Everyone so concerned about getting kills that they don't bother to check behind them. We were ambushed a lot as a result. :(

I 'pushed' successfully with no sign of back-up... Took out about 2 squads of guys--man alone.

Reminds me about the game i just had,

We were pushing B and i was at the front,mowgli377 flanked us from behind about 7 times and my team still didn't learn.I decided to push from B to A and used the small flanking alley between B and A to get there,there were a ton of okes and i am not lying but i killed every oke that came thru there until i ran out of ammo.easily killed around 15 okes there alone with headshots from the Scar-L.

Later i switch to the Scar-H because Camando171 and StealthHunt3r were camping the IFV and my whole team seemed to be deaf because they ran right in front of it while i could clearly hear where it was.

Doubt it, it happens only in BF3. No other game has yet to crash on me.

You're doubting too much,it's either your GPU or your on board sound card.

These are my specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K (3.5GHz, 8M Cache, 8x Cores) Overclocked to 4.6GHz Per Core CPU
Corsair Hydro Series H100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB 256bit DDR5 DX11 Graphics Card
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz High Performance Gaming RAM
PSU: Corsair Professional Series HX650 650W 80+ Modular High Performance Power Supply

And guess what,it only crashed in BF3 just like yours.

Just save your default clock speeds and downclock your GPU a bit,you can always revert them back later.

I might have underclocked it too much though but it runs over 100fps easily.
 
65degC is nowhere near hot enough for the card to overheat. If it was 85 or 95 it could be a possibility. The fact that it only happens in BF3 is also very dodgy.
 
I need to get myself another 500GB Sata HDD. This is probably the 10-15th time in less than a few months that this HDD gives me these endless problems. I've formatted this drive so often, yet the problem persists. I need a replacement OMG! Either windows doesn't start-up properly because it's plugged in, or it takes forever to load games or whatever, then just stucks and I'm forced to Force Restart my PC. My 80GB IDE is MORE reliable than this POS 500GB SATA. 80GB hasn't given me 1 problem since I got it... And it's been years!

Whatever floats your boat,i struggled a month or more with this problem before i found a solution.

I tweaked my system constantly and changed driver's regularly to try and find a solution and when i finally did i installed a new OS then applied my solution.(problem persisted even on new OS)
 
Been taking a bit of a break not playing as much. Havent had any really fun matches for a while :(
 
Now I tried to get in it again. But a obvious hacker came in and just ruined it for me. One shot killed our whole team. :-/
 
Jeez I suck at sniping but trying to level up my recon class so I sneak up behind guys when i can and instead of knifing I just rifle them point blank in the back of head. Its lame but kind of fun.

You can actually one shot them in the upper chest below 15 meters,it a bit hard when suppressed though.
