Hi i've looked and i can't find anything on the forum for this so here goes.
I just upgraded my pc with a i5 2500k 8gigs of corsair vengeance and a gigabyte z68ap-d3 board.
now the problem i am having is the game feels choppy, even though my fps doesn't change from 45fps.
No frame spiking or anything. My graphics card is a Evga 9800gtx+ but i know it can't be the problem,
because before i upgraded bf3 ran at like 30fps but the frames dropped when stuff happened but it was smooth if nothing was going on.
I googled it and they say to stop the stuttering to disable hyper threading or set the games affinity to 1 core.
I think the 2500k doesn't have hyper threading so that is out and on 1 core the game barely runs.
I run the game on low settings with 1920x1080 res same as i did before.
Is there anything i can do or is it just a thing i have to wait for Dice to patch?
