i still stand firm with my opinion, its much harder work to keep the Heli in the skies for long, thats why tooks takes a jet now

@Xero: Sorry dude, quoted the wrong post. I was actually referring to Den's post where he said "I challenge you to take a stinger in real life". If this game was based on the real life, they might as well change the weapon damage to kill a player with one pistol shot. Or when you're shot in the knee your guy starts crying in pain and your accuracy decreases by 90%.

I just think it's stupid that the AA shooting at the chopper tilts the thing upside down which is totally ridiculous. It's being nerfed though. As for the jets doing too little damage to the infantry, that's also being fixed in the new patch. Jets are getting a buff.
@Off-The-Chart: Dude, sometimes when I fly in a jet, someone gets a damn lock on me from their base while I'm flying overhead in my base. Wtf? That's why from now on I go as high as I can, 900m in Caspian. Some people summah get a lock on me while I'm flying at 500m in my base. Another annoying thing about that stupid AA is that you can't even take it out with a guided missile and a full salvo of the vulcan cannon. But I guess those 2 vehicles are pretty even then. The jet can disable the AA but not destroy it single handedly. The AA can disable the jet and then you just extinguish. They have to however fix that shit where the chopper tilts when being shot at.
For the record, I killed a chopper with a jeep machine gun before, so practically everything on the map can take a chopper out and it usually does because everyone on the whole map targets you when you're in a chopper. Shit just rains down hard on you and that's why I commend anyone who can keep the thing in in the air for more than 3 minutes.
Xero, I also think the tank needs a damage buff, but the armour is ridiculously tough already. Again, yesterday I shot a tank with about 6 rockets, excluding the ones my teamie shot at it too and it just didn't go down. It's not as plastic as you say

Don't RL stingers have a effective range of between 5 and 8km? Depending on time and weather conditions. Show me a map that is larger. (For the record, I have barely played Engineer enough to unlock the Stinger).
Xero can Google. Yes, planes and choppers in RL carry a limited amount of countermeasures, excluding electronic counter measures, but that limited amount is still a hefty number. Trick I learned with the AA vehicle, lock on long enough, nerves will dictate noob pilots deploy flares where after my 2 IR missiles do their damage.

The AA tank, like in RL carries armour piercing bullets. The minigun in the choppers do the same damage to tanks. The A10's canon should in theory rip anything apart but there is a question of balance...

Probably had a engineer hiding behind the tank fixing it while you were shooting

Can someone tell me how to join a certain squad switch my friends are in? I can leave my squad, but I can't choose to join a certain squad. I can only click on Find Squad and it puts me back in the squad I was.

Leave squad. Then click on the relevant squad you wanna join and look at the bottom of the squad listings, there is a button called join! Easy!

the squad joining thing is very slow and buggy ... i think they addressing this in the next patch i believe
