I forgot to leave my PC running for the patch download today. So looks like I'll have to copy it over from my work machine. Just hope I don't forget. I better get those nice yellow sticky notes out and plak them everywhere.

Anyways, we are busy patching and tweaking the rest of the servers. Currently there are five online, one of them have 19 players on at the moment, so if you are keen for a game, hop on.

Mine was left off as well. Stupid Stupid Stupid me!!! tring to conserve power and what not.
 
Almost done. But first Action Cricket, then ride home, then shower, then dinner and some TV and then BF3. By then hopefully patch done. ABout 1GB left.
 
joined a server that says that my ping would be 20ms.i join only to get a 600ms ping.there is also a dude that locks on to my jet with a heli no matter how far away or how high i am and his gunners seems to kill me in seconds from half way across the map.

The ping issue you had been experiencing could be one of several factors, a bug with the new patch, ADSL connectivity problems etc. I appear to be receiving similar pings to what is displayed on Battlelog and in-game. Although in-game the ping does not seem to work correctly, you are able to view everyone elses pings but your own.

Sure the lock-on was not from a jet too? Perhaps it's yet another bug or glitch which the update broke.

nope,their jet was already shot down.just their chopper,he was even able to lock on and shoot a missile right at me while i was diving down from high up at him.he wasn't even looking my way.
 
Murphy's Law of programming. Fix one bug to make 2 more. :/

Damn download is still going. Maybe i will be playing tonite. Let hope so

Asked if my pc could not be switched off today. Bam switched off and then turned back on, was at 2.2gbs done now im at 400mbs. :(
 
Started update at 17:00 last night.

Status it says 12 hours remaining... I love having an uncapped 4mb account from Mweb, because it is always fun to wait 10 hours for 2Gbs to download.

Right so after the update my PC is Blue screening, so I updated the nvidia drivers to the new beta, downclocked my pc, and stay off TS. will test tonight and revert, I got gatvol of having to redo the same unlocks last night over and over again.

Mine went full speed, but it ones experience with MWEB does seem relative to where you live. I stay about 3km away from the main Cape Town IPC.

I gave the game a try last night, but didn't play long enough to notice any changes, but what I did notice is how ridiculously good Skyrambo is in a jet. :wtf:
