In relative comparison...

Origin = The worst thing, second to the square wheel.

Steam = Best thing, second to the round wheel.

Oh ! And lag. Yes! I felt like a dog on a leash, yanked back and forth.
So bad... I end up shooting myself in the back ...

LOL @ Yskas. To be honest I have been avoiding Steam because I don't have a CC (no offers plz) and I cannot buy from them (and Origin for that matter) by using EFT. Take2 or Takealot is AWESOME enough for me.
 
Excuse me guys, but really how old are some of you? Have you never experienced games as they suppose to be or have you forgotten?

F$%%k Steam and Origin. It’s the biggest load of bull there is. What happened to buying your game, installing it quickly and then enjoying endless hours of fun without installing a bunch of spyware monitoring your pc and even your sperm count daily?

Seriously wtf. I urge everyone not to forget where we come from, the good old days.

The only bad thing is I like BF3 and having a history with BF & BC I just could not pass it over, even thou I despise Origin!
I don't make use of Steam as I was never forced to it cause of a game I just had to play...

I do SnowWar, where were the days of looking up a certain word from the manual in a txt file for copy protection.
Steam - Same situation. What kept me from buying Civ5.

I bought it yesterday afternoon, paid with credit card, they took money out of my account but, they have not cleared my purchase yet. Worst service ever. Why do they need to clear DLC? Silly.

I'm no better off than you really, except I'm R120 down.

It has to do with how you perform against higher ranked players and lower rank players. The lower it is the worse you are doing :). Around 300-400 is k.
