MASS with certain weapon combos is OP. Another thing EA and DICE broke. Its like cheating. Will be Giving up BF 3 soon for other games.
 
I feel your guy's pain. I seem to die a lot more lately, still trying to figure out whether its just me playing more fail but I swear sometimes I can pomp an entire clip at close range with my crosshair on the guy's neck/head and still lose. And don't get me started on that RPK, that thing got buffed insanely. Anyways, if things don't improve with the next patch I'm considering dropping BF3. How can someone try play competitively when the game gets broken this badly, and some people seem unaffected. Must stop ranting >_<
 
No no I just leave the server if there's one. There's enough servers around for hackers not to be a worry. It's the frikken suppression and skew barrels on the rifles that is rage material.

on a side note, my ADSL line went tits-up on saterday mid-day so i called MWEB and logged the faulty, i settled back for the long wait from telkom to fix me up , but surprise surprise, i get a early wake up call from my hung-over slumber with a telkom techie at my front door at 9AM on Sunday....THE NEXT DAY!!

i was pissed that someone was ringing my intercom but was then extremely happy to see the Telkom dude, was very impressed, never thought i would say this, but Well Done Telkom!!

funny thing now is now i'm getting normal download but 0.40 Upload on a 1 meg line, normally it would be 0.2 at most, yes it's a small difference but i like to think of it as "sorry for the inconveince" present from Telkom :D
 
but holy cow that Mass is crazy, i reckon most of my deaths from the Battlelog i posted eariler was from the Mass, seriously, it requires zero aiming, and the range WTF!!! was getting 1-shotted from 30-40 m away!

Do you guys play on Hardcore or normal mode? I find hardcore to be way more fun because it takes fewer bullets to make a kill and you can hide without the worry of being spotted and running around with a big orange triangle above your head.

Anyway, let me say it again. You can't choose to "exploit" this. That's how the game was made. You shoot from your head. Klaar. No 2 ways about it. You can hide behind ANY cover and it's the same. It's not just certain spots, it's ALL the spots. SO, you can't exploit it. Hiding behind cover = exploiting because DICE fucked the game up is technically what you're reasoning says here.

Windows; concrete blocks; vehicles; any cover in this game is about level height with your chest. Except, you can shoot from your head. So....ja, you can see where that goes. Technically, only if your gun is sticking out ABOVE cover must you be able to shoot at someone, but that's not the case with 90% of the cover in this game.
 
Never thought I would say this, but PLEASE let the DGL be done so I don't ever have to play this game again. I've had it with this game. Who would have thought DICE could fuck BF3 up so bad. BC2 had a bumpy release, but damn, not nearly as bad as BF3. Really just so sick and tired of this fucking game I can uninstall it right now.

You are missing my point. If you are actively going out of your way knowingly using this bug to enhance your play then you are exploiting the bug.

Agree with you some situations are unavoidable but ive seen guys using this bug on purpose.

I just don't see how you can "use it on purpose" if you can't help it because that's how the game behaves in all circumstances behind any and all cover. If you had a stompie for a leg, you would limp around on any surface. The game is broken. That's how it's been programmed. Fire from the head. There's nothing you can do to fix it besides standing in the open so people have a chance to shoot back. Or get a robot leg.
