I just saw this on Gamespy. Looks like Battlefield Bad Company 2 is hugely popular worldwide.

"All teams are actively engaged in diagnosis and remediation. We are adding additional services to alleviate load.

Despite having a major infrastructure in place, the peak traffic this weekend has been huge, 400% higher than any other Battlefield's peak simultaneous users. The teams will continue to monitor the services closely. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will provide further updates on the latest developments as they are relevant."

Lets hope they have the servers sorted out soon I need to shoot some people :)
 
Hey, any approximation on the single player game time? Keen on buying it for the PS3, but don't have ADSL yet ;/ And work freaking blocks all gaming sites, besides mygaming for some reason :P
 
SP on the pc took me about 5hours on HARD. The servers are definitely overloaded as well, if you play at night be ready to disconnected between 3 and 7 times. But the game is flipen awesome I love shooting a sniper hiding in a window and you just blow the wall away so much fun :p. O and I just have to say OMF there are some many snipers it is insane like 8v8 sniper wars and the rest of the ppl run around.
 
LOL yeah dude the snipers are flippen crawling on BC2 but it's all good....they get taken out just as easily. The best feature of being a sniper is the mortar strike. That is EPIC win.

I have taken out many a sniper with a well aimed rocket launcher.

Nothing like seeing that rocket gravity drop onto a sniper hiding in the far. Some of my best moments in the game :)
 
Yeah, I'm also just totally taken by the squad mechanics. I've got a couple of friends already playing this, so we're going to have a blast. Literally. :D

Best is squad rush and death match. Love ambushing a entire squad with mine. Or hoping in a tank with sensors so no body can hide,add the fact I am a engineer and others will have a hard time:D

The squad based combat is really what draws me in. If your playing with a couple friends, especially in LAN your going to have a blast.
