Edit. Managed to fix it. Had to download a 64bit version of dinput8.dll and pop it in the game directory. weird.

Sometimes these issues....I wonder, since I dont code, how easy it would be for a programmer to put in some kind of more descriptive code..., like you error for example, "dinput8.dll" caused an error, please fix. Perhaps too many variables, I dont know, I dont code.

Yeah the original message did give a clue as to which module is faulty. Turns out directx is not updating properly on my clean install of windows 7. Couldnt be bothered to reinstall though.

I cant even play two maps without freezing and having to reboot....game must have heard me bad mouthing it, now its like "Kry vir jou biatch!!"

Seems setting the game to borderless fixes the freezing, was about to play 4 games after each other last night with that setting. Normally the game freezes after the first game when the 2nd map loads or even during the load of the first map.
