BBM available via samsung app store

Hahaha

At least this app gives an easy way out for the Blackberry followers. Buy a real phone, download the app, and wait until all your friends have also got rid of their BB's too.
again asks teh question why BB ever allowed this

You are not their target market, you have a top tier phone and Wifi/internet at home.

They want to catch those users who still have Gingerbread or Honeycomb and get them to their bottom tier phone.

Oh and BBM has a better read and deliver report, if you have someones pin it is easy to start chatting, whatsapp does have some problems with contacts not appearing in the client.

If you asked a girl for her number or her pin at a bar the pin is the better option because a number you cant lose but with the pin if the girl still has some control - if she doesnt like you she can just delete you and you wont have her as a contact. Speaking from experience :D

I know there is some scanning benefit to it as well but never did it so cant say for sure - like a like on FB you can get say 5fm's pin then they can broadcast specials and bands shows to you. . . .

still doesnt explain what does RIM ahve to gain from this move ?

Well if their consumers requested it then it is a show of good faith on their part.

Otherwise like I said, it can be a taster to get converters in the bottom tier smart phone market.

Like Wordament on iOS and Android just a taste of achievements to get people to give a WP8 a chance.

there are too many fraudulant apps on the playstore...just go to bbm's website itself
I have it since release(from the samsung app store), was showing him the "three days' time" bit.

I didn't have any waiting time because I preregistered.

yeah I don't know either. I'll probably only use it to message my flatmate because he doesn't have whatsapp on his crackberry and is to lazy to install it

Do you use your data/airtime or must you have BIS?

I knew Blackberry was just a phase, they lost too much money from giving away free internet.
