Yeah I don't understand the hate. It didn't work, so they've removed it. Whether they're working to fix it or not, is not relevant or known to us. So hey everyone, just pretend all the pokemon on the list have 3 steps, since nothing has actually changed. problem solved.

I only ever got 3 steps, so nothing has changed there.

It was only in the very first release, and although it was a little unpredictable at times, It definitely did work. People are so pissed because instead of fixing the problem, they just removed it from the game. You wont understand how helpful it was if you never experienced it. Although it was buggy, it made tracking down a Pokemon SO MUCH better.

I for one dont understand why Nianic dont just SAY SOMETHING about the change, rather than radio silence. They are making the cardinal sin of not communicating with their player base, and as a result people are loosing their shit. If they explained the thinking behind the change, and gave reasons for it, and if or if not it will return at a later date, there wouldnt be all this fuss about it.

People would loose their shit if they said anything or not. This game is so big, anything that happens is bound to offend someone with a keyboard.

True that, but I swear most of the information about Pokemon go was through trial and error, it seems to be their response in general.
