No it wouldn't. I think it's a joke that there are 1200 odd okes sitting at a LAN with who knows how many illegally sharing games, movies, music, tv series, porn and more with each other and SAFACT and other anti piracy okes have stalls barely 100m away.
Anyway, we can bitch about rAge elsewhere. I agree totally with SephirothDVR. The biggest pro is at least we have internet and online gaming despite the problems associated with it. The con, yeah, Europe and US have it better than we do.
The good: We have a small community which a lot might consider bad but I actually like a small community where we are all buddies and know each other. When I jump into a server playing COD I know some of the players on the server which I used to game with on a daily basis. I bet in the US they jump into a server and it's different people every time.... I am glad we don't have that here in SA.
