Best gaming mouse for FPS

Shoot, zoom, buttons for every weapon, knife, grenades? Works pretty well for me... Worked exceptionally well for Borderlands where 1-4 were for weapons, 5 was for "use" and 6 was for grenades. 8 was used for my special ability (gunzerking with Salvador). And then of course left for shooting, right for zoom. So all-in-all 9 buttons used for Borderlands 2...

Ok i can see it working in that situation, but for most FPS games I really do not think the extra buttons would be of any use to most people. xD
 
There is a new kid on the block that is literally pissing on every single mouse I have ever owned including my beloved Roccat Kone XTD.
I'll be doing a full review on it sometime during the week, I've been using it now for about 5 hours and it is by far the best gaming mouse I've ever had the pleasure of owning.

Ultimately it comes down to preference. There are people who map all actions to their mouse. Switching guns, knifing etc.

For me though, I do prefer a minimal mouse and I'm actually interested in The FinalMouse.

...like me. I suck at absolutely every game as soon as I switch from my Naga Molten to my Sensei RAW. I'm so used to everything being clickable by my thumb that I feel clumsy around a keyboard.

I personally never recommend anything made by razer , unless it is a mouse pad (know too many people with issues and breaks) .
I have a cooler master inferno (which is not really a fps mouse) but I love it, and find the little buttons next to the main ones great for reloading and changing to flash bangs . The weight is nice too. It is a cheaper option to other mice. I bought it to play guild wars and fps games (bf3 at the time) . Have had no issues with it in 2 years.

I think it more depends what you are wanting to pay for a mouse, good place to get a bench mark for prices if takealot.co.za.

Pick a style (claw , palm grip) , Pick a price, narrow it down to like 3 or 4, then just google for reviews . :)
