Bloodborne: the official thread

Took down 2 more bosses today and if I'm not mistaken I am one boss away from the end (unless I try a certain, very difficult, optional boss again). I actually wanted to farm until lvl 100 before NG+ (at 88 now), but I'll probably just go for the end so I can start a new character or NG+. I know 100 is probably a bit overleveled to go into NG+ but it's the level I planned my stats towards.

Busy uploading the vids of the two bosses I killed today, will post here as soon as they are up.

Argh! I give up for tonight. The people you beckon play like fucktards all the while losing insight for every ring! Not to mention the ones you invade, they just run for the boss gate.
 
How do you summon Alfred? I need help with this bloody blood-starved beast. Tired of getting close to killing it and then it eats me :mad:

Just ring the beckoning bell, there's a note near the stairs that says something like, "if you require assistance simply ring the bell"

Yeah saw that and I ring the bell but still no Alfred and I'm running out :(

Make sure you have clothes with high Arcane defense. Kill all the smaller spiders and then you can get a few good hits in on rom. Attack from behind or the side, for both rom and the smaller spiders. After a few hits he will teleport and the smaller spiders will respawn. Just kill them again and they won't spawn again. Beware rom will start spamming magic attacks once the smaller spiders are dead for good. Tried so many times but got him one time with this strategy. Check my youtube vid to see how I did it.
 
Not going too well for me, out of blood vials as well. This is probably the hardest boss thus far, solo anyway.

Just finished the game. I got the bad ending first, then the good ending. Still need to get the true ending. Backed up my save so I can get all three endings without having to do three playthroughs. So I'll go into NG+ with the true ending :).

Looked at the trophy list and I've pretty much got all the trophies. Seems I got very lucky and didn't miss any items and weapons. Plus I made the right decisions regarding the NPC's.

So I just need to finish the Chalice Dungeons and I'll have the plat.


Bloodborne is definitely the best game I've played on the PS4. Epic experience from start to finish.

I guess you're all a lot higher level than I.
 
Also finished it just now. What a fucking game! Best game of this new generation by a long shot. Definitely gonna go for NG+ but I want to try a different build as well.

Yeah I almost at the first boss in NG+. It's so nice running around knowing where all the enemies are and the shortcuts.

Don't think I can help you with the boss because I haven't reached that area yet in NG+.
