I have helped about 20 people tonight within 2 hours, and I've wasted about 10 insight trying to summon people. I have waited around 30min in order to get one person, who then doesn't fucking help me with the boss and goes around killing the enemies while I'm in the boss room. #imeancmon

Yeah man, I also couldn't find anyone to beckon for that fight but I was able to help others without issues. I almost gave up, but after three days of trying I eventually managed to beat him. I've also had a couple people who didn't come to the boss room when I went in, so damn annoying. Last night I beckoned 2 guys to help me with NG+ Cleric Beast, and both of them were right outside the fog gate with me, but as soon as I went in the one left my game and the other just stood there.

Yo i can help you guys, we can use a password matching to summon each other


If we set the password ingame->options->network to say mygaming or something we can summon each other

I spent about 4 insights trying to get somebody to help me with blood-starved beast :(
 
Don't worry too much about using insight. You get a shitload from just playing the game (pick-ups and boss fights) and you can always farm them by helping other people with bosses. I still have like 25 madman's knowledge in my inventory. I do try to keep my insight as low as possible though, especially now that I am on NG+.
 
Upgraded my phone last night. the new phone is running a Bloodborne wallpaper, Bloodborne theme as ringtone and the bell as notification tone :D
 
Just one trophy away from the platinum. Need to finish all the chalice dungeons. Think I'm about half way through them.
 
NG+ is not easy. Really struggling to beat Cleric Beast, but I did manage to beckon 2 guys who helped me with Father Gascoine. I also took down my first invader with the help of one of the guys I beckoned. I'll just skip Cleric Beast and go back to him later when I am a bit more leveled or have upgraded my weapons a bit more. I can't find blood chunks or rocks anywhere. I know I'm not going to find them in main game NG+ until I progress further again, but I have had no luck with them in Chalice Dungeons either. Also struggling with a depth 3 Chalice Dungeon boss.

It's funny you should be having a hard time with Cleric Beast. As per game progression he is the "tutorial boss" (you know, every Souls game has one) and thus it's purely there to teach you the ropes, so in essence he should be the easiest in the game. Even in NG+ he should in theory be the easiest in NG+. Yet some people really struggled with him, even from the beginning. I know he's tough in NG+ as I got called into a NG+ world and pretty much got one shotted by Cleric Beast, granted I was heavily under-leveled.

Lol, yeah man that's what I thought as well, but I'm almost at lvl100 (95 or 96, not sure now) and I do almost no damage to Cleric Beast. Haven't tried any of the strategies I've seen suggested online, but so far he kills me pretty easily and I can barely damage him. Made my way to Old Yharnman last night and the difficulty is pretty much on par with what it was in the first playthrough so far. The enemies take more or less the same amount of hits before dying as they did in my first playthrough and I've already taken care of both the hunters there. Haven't made my way back to our good friend Blood-Starved Beast yet though.
