Borderlands 2 PC Discussion thread

Don't know if you guys know this or if this has been mentioned but if you follow @GearboxSoftware on twitter you can get free Shift codes for Golden Keys. The keys are only active for a short time and sometimes it's like 3:00 am but it is worth it.

EDIT: I just couldn't resist any longer. Just bought the game on PC as well. Still deciding which character I'm going to play with on PC with for now, but I'm definitely doing the Mechromancer playthrough on PC once it becomes available.

Uhh! gave me terrible motion sickness - it is very very funny though (dark humour) - pity I can't play it due to the motion illness

Has anyone here finished the game and made it to True Vault Hunter Mode? I just want to know if I suck or if it really is that difficult. It took me about 2 hours (and $70 000 in lost money) just to beat Midgemong last night. I'm starting to think TVHM really isn't meant to played solo.

Yup, it's flippin HARD!
My 13000+ shield is taken -snaps fingers- just like that!
Died numerous times, lots tons of cash. It's very difficult.

Damn right!

Yeah it's pretty damn hard. I'm a level 33 Assassin and most of my skill points were spent on the melee boosts and it has worked pretty well thus far, but ever since I started TVHM my sword doesn't seem to cut it anymore. I get killed long before I have a chance to get up close and personal and the Deception skill only helps a little bit. I think I'll just leave this character for now and carry on with my PC game (this is on PS3) until I can get someone to co-op TVHM with me.

Playing as Maya (Level 39)
One thing I can say is ... Her Phase ability helps a great deal!

That doesn't exactly fill me with confidence :o!

I'm a lvl 33 Assassin myself, just started TVHM and focused my skills more on my gun play (Better damage while moving, speed boosts after kills and health regen after knife kills etc...) And I'm not finding it so hard so far. But I've only just reached Sanctuary solo on TVHM.

But can I just say how much I'm really dreading The Warrior on TVHM! I dunno if it was just me, but he used such cheap tactics!! Hated that fight!

Did you up the Field of View?

Yup, but I suspect that I'm just so out of practice with WASD + mouse.

Tried xbox controller but found it too imprecise (the only pc games I've played that really make effective use of xbox controller are Assassins Creed and Batman)

I've completed the game on both playthroughs, the circle of slaughter's are insanely hard on the second playthrough (True Vault Hunter Mode)

Circle of slaughters are very doable on TVHM - UNTIL WAVE 4. You really need a harmony specced Siren ally for that part. (Well I do). To many enemies, to quickly, and you are overrun.
