Can anyone recommend a good Pc gaming headset under R1500?

10 days is hardly necro. The topic, prices and products mentioned are still relevant. I'd rather have a topic keep being discussed than people randomly creating threads just to recommend gaming headsets.

Agreed.

Better to have one thread being necroed about the same topic than having multiple threads pertaining to the same thing.

It was necroed, doesn't mean it is useless :D

Dammit don't have multi tabs open haha this was suppost to be somewhere else not here hahah my bad.

My god this thread is still going?

Rather still going, than duplicates of similar threads.

I, for a great example, am also looking for headphones, but preferably something below the R500 mark, without a mic.

If anyone has any suggestions, please - let me know.

For gaming, music, movies?

All, actually. Something with decent bass, mids and clarity delivery. Will be spending a lot more time gaming, however.

Going to struggle to find something that performs well at those ranges for <R500. Let me see what I can do though.

Excellent suggestions dude. Seriously. Good to see that there are no "gaming" headphones on that list.

(I love me some AKG's)

Yeah man gaming headphones are usually too bass heavy. Makes your gaming sound very muddy at times. Thought I'd give Hagan a different set of options this time round.

And I thank you.

Heavily considering the Sennheiser HD 202. Only downside -- no in-line volume control, but I'm sure my keyboard has volume-adjustment keys.

Yeah none of those headphones will have volume control.

But - they are going to serve you far better than most other headphones in its price range.
