Canada is suing Sony for $1billion

Its inevitable more and more lawsuits are going to pop up and there's not a whole lot Sony can do to limit the damage.
 
Seems like everyone and their mother who has money are going to climb onto the Sony lawsuit gravy train ..

Got to feel for Sony. It's really been a rough time for them. From the PS3 being cracked to PSN being hacked... I think that Sony executives must really hate hackers by now.

See, I agree that Sony really messed up. However, no one has actually lost money, and the problem with these big, pricey law suits is that you get someone asking for an insane amount of money and if they win it's just kind of like, "Oh. For what?" Why should she get $1,000,000,000 from Sony? Was she personally damaged? No. She sees a mess up and doesn't want to spend the rest of her life working.
 
The only reason i want them to win, is that other big company's that take our Credit Card details. Make sure the data is secure and safe. I think company's only make them secure as far as the law is applicable and not the good of there clients.
 
I think it makes sense to sue them, because like that chick said, They (being Sony) Don't actually care about it's consumers on PSN and are just protecting their assets (Being their games), and now the tides turn. I hope this company actually learns a valuble lesson from what has happened... They're a bunch of sharks to be honest...
