ok, so I don't post here much...But I am a MyBB member and a WoW player and probably most importantly, a GIRL. lol. Anyways, Im hoping to attend the MyBB meet, so I thought why not come to this one too? U people seem like an interesting bunch

Ok, folks.

Went to check out the place on Saturday. This is what some of the areas look like.

The 3 areas:
  1. Uthango - up to 60 people - R300p/d
  2. Doringboom - up to 25 people - R200p/d
  3. Yellowwood - 15-20 people - R150p/d

There is also an entrance fee of R15 per person; free for Wildcard holders.

Let me know what you think. I have the booking form and will complete once decided.

Again, if anyone has any other suggestions, now's the time to put it out there. I don't know CT at all yet, so I can't suggest anything else.
 
How about we make it bring and Braai. Each person brings like a basket with stuff in, drinks the works and we make a nice fire and BBQ us some meats. Salads and such can also be done. No Pork as We will have some halaal people there.
 
Meat, sides, drinks, braai stuff (wood, charcoal, firelighters, etc). Will start issuing those instructions soon :p

A few bring salads and stuff (because that always gets left over anyway).
Someone is designated to bring the fire stuff (we all contribute).
 
Hi guys,

In addition to the R15 entry fee (payable to SANParks), there will be a R50 (to be confirmed; may well be much less) contribution required from each attendee, for the hiring of the venue and the purchase of wood/coal/firelighters/whatever else goes into making a fire. This will be confirmed closer to the time, and can be given to me/Omega on the day.

On that note, can we have a volunteer to buy the fire stuff? Given that I'm calling it 'fire stuff', I'm probably the wrong person for the job :D

I'm booking the Doringboom site for us. Omega, please update.

They need to know what time we'll be needing the site. They close at sunset, I think; let's assume 18h00. What time do we want to kick off the partying?

Need an answer to that one ASAP.
