Perhaps you are right. They might be hyping it up a bit too much, for something that is not that big of a deal.
 
Batman, Inc ....hmmm should I , Between the dark knight , batman and batman and robin
May be its enough batman .
I hate to be a complainer but its a expensive hobby this , and the few I have on hard copy subscription is burning a hole
I have 3 digital subs from Marvel , and DL one or to other :ahem: shared books :cough: :cough: but owning a comic is its own joy
I spend up to R400.00 a month for those of you in the know that's only 8 books or 11 with the digital subs
How are you guys racking up ?

I am on almost R650 a month. That's now 14, excluding AvX, which ends sometime. Expensive hobby indeed, planning to cut down soon. Perhaps I should drop GL: New Guardians...
 
Hi Avenged!! I could not believe when Cap threw Wolverine out of the plane?? No way will it be that easy!! So many questions...when will Cable make an appearance? What will he do when he finds out what they wanted to do with Hope? Will Wolverine stay with the Avengers? And if there is going to be a Mother effing team up or hands shake in the end I am going to shove my AVX comics up Stan Lee and Joe Quesada ass!! Cannot wait for the conclusion!!

Who else is reading Sweet Tooth? Sadly it is going to end in 6 issues. What an amazing series by Jeff Lemiere!! Really awsome!! Buy the trades.
 
I'm really enjoying Red Hood and The Outlaws. I like the fact that they're adding more background depth to the characters.

I picked up the Amazing Spider-Man movie prelude comic yesterday. Its a 2 part. I briefly skimmed through it, the art and colouring looks pretty sick. I'll give it a read this weekend and let you all know what its like.
Also picked up Spider-men, Miles and Peter meet somehow gonna check it out this weekend too. Should be pretty cool.
 
Animal annual was bloody cool. It seems that the Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemiere team are kicking ass no matter what they do. Swamp Thing 10 and Animal Man 10 was really outstanding.
 
Before Watchmen

Just Read Silk Spectre and was blown by her...I wish!! I mean, blow away by the artwork as well as the writing. Very cool and cannot wait what Brain Azzarello have in store for us next week with Comedian.
I also cannot wait for the Court of owl conclusion in Batman # 11. Anybody read Green Lantern #10? Welcome back Black Hand. Oh yeah, my favourite character of The Black Lanterns!!:D
Further off topic, I completed the Grant Morrison's New X-Men 40 issues and cannot wait to start reading!!
 
My "compulsive" habit of covering my comics books, graphic novels, manga and novels has now paid off. A little while ago (2 or 3 months) a stray cat kept coming into our house and marking its territory. We managed to chase it away, and remove all of the smell, but there as always a lingering in my study. Today, I decided to look for a specific graphic novel (Ultimate Human), and low and behold it was stuck to another. Congealed cat urine covered quite a bit of my collection, but their plastic sleeves saved the day.

Hoora!

Now to actually starting getting through my backlog...

If I'd discovered it at the time the cat was around then I would have been pissed. Just glad they were covered :)

Is there any where in CT that I can purchase 2000AD? I used to see them at CNAs all over the place, but not anymore.
