Competition disqualifications

James

MyGaming Alumnus
Disqualifications for the PS4 competition. Thanks to everyone who reported or sussed out dubious posters, it helps us.

OP will be updated:

Orion

Running dual accounts with Vapor-X.

Aside from that, see reasons below for Vapor-X as they apply to Orion as well.

Vapor-X

Reason: Mindless asinine one liner posting in rapid succession in numerous threads. Within two days of joining the forum has racked up over 400 posts that barely contribute anything to the conversations. The final straw was quoting himself and replying to it as if responding to another user - it's almost as if he can't keep up with his own dross.

Awesome thanks James had some peeps worried.

Or in the one post where his mother had no clue about computers and doesn't play any games and then a couple of posts later his mother really likes playing Solitaire and minesweeper and whatnot.

lol was waiting for it to happen sooner or later thought it wasn't just me who noticed.

I didn't like him alot either, luckily another member can now come in his place in the top25 , it gives them a chance as well.

Okay I know this is going to sound crazy but I feel a little bit sad for the guy. It took a lot of work to get all the posts that he made in these last 3 days. I mean sure, they didn't all make sense but it must have taken a lot of time. Hopefully he learned a valuable lesson from this.

Why would you be peeved? You joined 3 days before him and have more posts...

I feel like most of my posts have been of quality, I've started threads that have been somewhat interesting and resulted in conversation. I've put in a lot of effort to reach my spot despite being a noob and I plan to stay no matter the outcome. I don't feel I've been anything like him, but if some of you think that's the case I apologise.

doesn't the rules say you must be here for something like a month or 2 before the comp started to be eligible?
Or is that rule just in my head :)

Well done Master James i was waiting for that to happen because his posts were just getting out of hand and utterly stupid. I hope that is a good stern warning to any future posters that tempt this type of behaviour

I know what you mean. And he was high enough up the food-chain not to have needed to resort to this madness to get there.

Thats only for voting competitions unless it has moved to others

I do feel, however, that giving it to someone that joined within a couple after the competition is posted, should not be allowed.

A lot of the new members joined within 7 days of the competition thread.

Same, I've tried my best to stick to the rules by posting often and interesting threads yet it's disheartening to see my position remain unchanged because a lot of the people who are ahead of me got there by posting continuously in the spam threads. :(
