Running dual accounts with Vapor-X.

Aside from that, see reasons below for Vapor-X as they apply to Orion as well.

Vapor-X

Reason: Mindless asinine one liner posting in rapid succession in numerous threads. Within two days of joining the forum has racked up over 400 posts that barely contribute anything to the conversations. The final straw was quoting himself and replying to it as if responding to another user - it's almost as if he can't keep up with his own dross.

wow that guy had a set trying that and i think he got mixed up between his tabs and his 2 accounts and didn't even realize it.

It's people like that that actually cause chaos in decent well kept forums and then comes and messes up the whole balance but like the say Karma, and murphy are your two worst enemies

Well I'm glad it finally happened, towards the end it looked like he was banging his head on the table to string a sentence together. He had his moments where he said something good but that was followed by 99 more posts about gibberish.

When I get home on thursday night me thinks I have some reading to do.
 
I gotta read up on the entry requirements for this competition... I keep seeing the thread for it (and the mention on MyBB) and I think to myself, what a wonderful woorl... Uhhh... Competition.
 
Geez, how is it even possible to generate that amount of posts for more than one account?

Also had my suspicions, he thought creating dupe accounts will secure a position for him in the top 25.
I have also ran my own forum before, it's easy to pickup dupes via same IP address.
 
some people just appear smarter than others but once you scratch away the avatars and nick names some of them turn out to be hillbilly's :p

Even with the same IP, care should be taken. When I post from work, it goes through a proxy server that has a direct link to the ISP. I haven't tested it, but I'm pretty sure everybody from work will show up on the same IP to the outside world.

That is indeed correct. When multiple accounts comes up with the same IP, then you have to look for similarity in posts. Not sure why people think they can get away with dupes.
