Nope all it will do is increase your CPU's life slightly. 55-65c is not a bad temp for most newer CPU's so you shouldn't worry too much about it. CPU temps do not affect performance, only stability.
Thats strange. WoW should hardly be taxing on that CPU. Is this a recent problem? Could be some application running in the background causing it.

yeah agree with Isengard on this one wow even runs fine on an amd 3800+
It can also be adware spyware thats causing the high cpu usage.
Start off from a clean windows install and test if you have the same issue
The specs you gave should be enough to run the title although the 5200 is getting a bit long in the tooth
It doesn't sound like temperature related issues though, as with increased temp under laod you would see more lockups etc
You checked the heat on your GFX card though ?
As with my post above, it's WoW that has the constant high CPU usage. I've done a malware, antivirus and spyware scan. Nothing came up.
Yeah adware can do that. But since you run it its maybe the same thing I had a few months ago.
Okay get http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx And see what exactly is running the cpu up like that.
Is it just me or is that CPU to GPU ratio a bit in favor of the GPU?
Yes it isSaving up for the mobo-cpu-ram upgrade
