I just think all of the resources and time could be used better to rather create 128tick official servers, and maintain those properly. Otherwise we have the same problem we had a few weeks later where all of the official servers were down or getting 50%+ packet loss

This isn't difficult to do, if I remember right its just a matter of editing a config file
 
I am a old school cs fan. Being a GMN (gold master nova) ranked player I enjoy dm over bomb defuse missions. Since competing and ranking up is all people want being in sa with a 150 to 300 ping is a kick based on that. But I must say csgo is a major improvement over source. Its smooth as silk running a solid 90 fps on max settings and even max resolution. I do think if you come from cod or battlefield its a learning curve to appreciate the nuances of counterstrike. But when you find a good few tem mates to compete with and get the feel for the nature of cs its addictive as cocaine. I currently deranked but upped my kd ratio. To 3.719 so have many overwatch reports. Overall csgo is a plus 10 imo. Now I made a informal intro I am happy to see csgo is enjoyed loclly
 
Played one of the best DGL matches so far last night! CC-Anarchy vs BZK Reakt. Came down to the third map and I had to clutch it as CT with 2 T's alive and bomb planted for our 16th Round to win 14-16 (If i lost, we would've tied and gone into overtime). We are tied for second in our group now! =D
 
Man was really cool watching the IEM finals. 600k viewers on steam and 950k watching through steam! I wonder if any CoD game has every achieved that?

It was absolutely insane! I think there were 800k+ viewers at a stage!
Don't think any other game besides Dota and LoL might have achieved those kind of numbers!
 
Those finals were amazing! Im just happy to see CS back on stage where it belongs!

Seriously CoD could learn a thing or 2 here
 
So what year did you guys start playing Counterstrike? I only started in 2004..ish.

Half Life way before that though :P Blue Streak and Opposing Force were my go to games :)

I started playing back when it was in beta, think it was 0.4 or something. Back when u could stock pile guys in spawn after each round, lol those were funny days.

We must jam together sometime i need coaching and a lot of it :p what you guys think of the map swap from nuke to train ?

Honestly I HATE the new overhauled Train map! Always been a fan of Nuke, so I am not amped at all

I think i have you already :p I love inferno my favourite map by far maybe because it's the only map i have got an ace on :D

They overcomplicated both Train an Cobblestone. Too many corners, walkways, doors.. just too much
