Dark Souls

I got stuck at the fire drake by the bridge and the controls were so horrid on pc so I gave up lol.
 
I got very far but never finished it. It's on my list of games to play again one day. It's sad because I really enjoyed it but I just really craved something else at the time.

I also loved it but the controls put me off. I will eventually get a ps3 and play it on that. Maybe once I am in england find a good deal and get that. Though I heard the guy I will be staying with has a ps3 so heres hoping he has it :p

Pc controls on that game was for the masters :p
 
Has anyone preordered Dark Souls 2?

Any confirmed release date? I know it was March 14 and then Amazon put it up for release on May 31st for PC. I preordered the Collector's Edition and really don't want to wait

I pre-ordered on PC. I think the release for console is still somewhere in March and I'm pretty sure the PC version is somewhere in May. Suits me fine since inFAMOUS Second Son is end of March so I wouldn't be able to get DS2 in March anyway.

Guess I don't need to manage my time between TitanFall and Dark Souls 2 now in March. Such a pity though. I was ready to praise the sun.
 
Lol, yeah you shouldn't play any other games while playing DS. Fuck, I still need to finish the first game sometime before the second one comes out. I have lost my character(s) so many times now and I hate having to replay the entire thing to get where I was (Anar Londo). I did start over about a week ago, but I'm not really in the mood for it at the moment and it doesn't help that I have to everything over for the umpteenth time.

I actually need to buy a new XBox controller for my pc. My receiver seems to have broken unfortunately and I don't know where to get a new one so I'll just buy a new controller.

Lol, I'm sure you've noticed that the heavier the armour you equip, the harder it is for you to move.

Removed a few things, and see the what happens ;)

----- Try this:
As soon as he jumps down, run back towards the tower. Climb up and wait for him. Once he's underneath, do the downward attack.

Then run to the opposite end. He'll follow. Run back. Dodge whatever he throws at you and keep running for the tower. Repeat.

And yes, he's weak to lightning based attacks! Forgot about that :D

Dude if you find the chest that the black swords man is guarding you get spark dust and that chows the demons life :D
I killed him in a few seconds.
 
I went with a warrior build. Strength and stamina and endurance. Using the BKS +5 and changing between the Black Iron Set and the Gold-Hemmed Black Set.
 
I played as a cleric and really enjoyed it. If I ever take on Dark Souls again then I will start over and play as a cleric again.
