I'm more worried by the precedent this sets. Knowing EA, this is just the start of a trend that leads to most SP games involving micro-transactions of some sort. Greedy bastards.
You know what the worst part is? In the past if you wanted more crafting materials/money in a game, you could use cheats or trainers. Now we're basically paying for cheats.
I don't see a problem as long as it still plays well without needing to purchase anything extra.
ME????? what ? never heard of it lolI couldn't care less about micro-transactions if it doesn't have an impact on me not using it. As long as the game doesn't force me to use real money to make any progress, it doesn't bother me in the least.
Still getting this game no matter what they add to it or what reviews and other people say. This is something I'll play and judge for myself and if it does suck (like ME3) I'll just forget it ever existed.
For second playthroughs, such implementations would be helpful. Have more advanced, more powerful weapons from the get-go... More or less.If they have to add micro transactions I feel it should only be on new game+ play throughs. They should only be there to boost replayablity of the game.
However if given the option, I would prefer that this model remains in a free to play game and not one that you have already invested heavily into just to start playing.
