I think one skill you get as the Titan is to get a shield after you sprint that negates/lowers damage, haven't tried pvp yet so not too sure if it is implemented into pvp or not.
 
This is my first online experience in something like 6v6. I must say I am loving it. I still suck at shooting and I feel sorry for the people on my team but I don't care. I just hit level 8 and got a new gun and armor. Now I will return with wrath. After the f1.
 
Damnit ghai's!! sthaap! I don't want to play anymore and spoil it for myself! Just going to try the pvp then I am going to force myself to complete SS and Black Flag.

Tried out the MP, it's F*CKING AMAZING! (except for the Map on the Moon :/ full of Snipers) It's slow and fast paced at the same time, you can change weapons mid-game, capping a points is just as rewarding as killing. It's sooooo good! Auto-aim is a little hard to get control of but I am sure I will get there.

Yeah, I need training in the Crucible. My skeelz are not leet enough yet for MP.
The biggest issue I have with the game at the moment is the respawn rate. It is insanely quick!

Got your friend request :D I am on PS4.

I think they want to keep it fast paced, I would prefer a spawn timer system in waves (every 3 seconds you can spawn) but with the speed of how the game plays out 3 seconds is quite long in terms of capturing points. We should also remember that there are 6(?) game types 3 of them being TDM, Deathmatch and 3v3 competitive, so if you don't fancy one type you can play another.

Some mates at work were interested in my experience over the weekend and therefor asked how the game is and what what...
... I was literally speechless. I can't really sum into words how good this whole package actually is. From the gameplay mechanics, to the musical score, the stunning visuals... just so much to recommend, not just the experiences.

So instead they asked, "what bad things can I say about the game?"
My reply was simple, "..."
But seriously, the only thing I could really run it down with, was that the enemy hordes respawn too quickly.

Oh man! Actually turned out to be an expensive affair... I wasn't quite happy with the display or the experience on my current Sony Bravia 32" LCD HDR, so I went browsing this weekend... needless to say I got home with a shiny new Sony Bravia 46" LED FHD.

BUT IT LOOKS BEAUTULL PLAYING DESTINY ^_^

Haha. I also bought a new Samsung 48 series 6 for destiny :D now I need to buy a headset so I can scream at fuckers
 
One thing that does concern me is, playing this in it's BETA form, are we not killing the playability of it?
Will we not be board of it when it releases?

Well to me it's my first time playing pvp online. So I am going to stick to only that. I think the story missions will grow immensely as to what we have now. Or at least I hope so because that was already a little repetitive for me.

At the moment Earth seems to be the only playable area so a lot of content is being repeated.

I played the GW2 betas and never got bored with the content at release.

Keep your fancy TV's I happy with my 23" Dell with IPS :)
 
I'm getting a chance to play Destiny a bit this weekend. The game's first mission was pretty impressive. Reminds me a bit of how I felt when I played Quake 2 and Quake 4.

Anyway, I've also updated the PSN ID thread. Anyone still playing this weekend?

Sad to see the beta go :( Had a great time and definitely cemented my expectations of this game.
