GameAccountLogon Failure 34200 error - game_utility_server_no_server
Logon is correct, it will throw a different error if I dont use the right password. It gets through the Connecting and Authenticating steps, but balks on the last checkbox. I dont have any characters yet.
Anyone else seeing this, is this a general "Battle.net hates you" error?


plus the only way to post in the beta feedback is to have a beta tester license

i´d say we Finnaly got some kinda a beta rolling :p

i've been the victim of a peculiar bug, when moving from the outdoors to inside, and vise versa, my screen goes black, excepting for my UI, which is perfectly fine (though not tracking health/mana usage correctly) eventually, it might come back partially, but it's still extremely dim.

Edit: this also goes for waypoint travel. Any time the game has to load a fresh screen it seems."

Bashiok also claiming it has not started yet, but DiabloFans.com was expecting it to start any day from Sat. to Tue.

Allot of threads going around and another post was deleted from the Beta forum. Its all a bit weird and I'm not sure why they are being deleted.

a little birdie told me that Diablo 3 Xbox beta keys will be going out as well. I myself could not believe it and will not until I see it... soon. The birdie's little brother then told me that Diablo 3 is expected early December on 3 platforms...

Guess we will find out 22 - 23 October
 
Could not care less for an Xbox version. The game is not designed to be played on consoles tbh. They design it with the PC in mind and then afterwords see what they can do for consoles.
That means inferior game on the console. Specially if they planning to release it at the same time as the PC version since they have really not had that much time for it.

Anyway, best of luck. I just want the game out. And yes the aim is still a Dec release (probly +- 16th) unless the Beta brings new problems forward.
Also "friends and family" Beta is underway atm, but it has an NDA
 
Agh, with the way the skill system has been changed I think it would be pretty compatible with the Xbox. Will definitely not be the worst port ever.

I however also don't really care. I just want to play it...

What I'm fearful of too. It's improbable that the beta won't chase some bugs out of the woodwork, but I'm confident Blizzard'll squash 'em real good real quick.

I may be contacted for the rights to the slogan.

No, stay positive. It will come out this year... crossing fingers. Honestly I think beta will be live before blizcon
 
Ok my question is a little of topic but i dont want tot start a whole new thread, Seeing that to play Diablo you need internet conectivity does this also mean you will need a hardcore uncapped or capped ADSL line or would a 3g card work? I know you cant play online games with the 3g but I am not sure if you jsut register on line or is it always on line if that makes sence

I don't think it will require that much bandwidth, as far as I know WOW doesn't use much so I reckon Blizzard will try keep it the same with Diablo 3

Nah it's not like SC2 where you basically authenticate your copy and for the rest, play offline, there's definitely a remote server that your client would constantly exchange data with. Beta reports are pretty encouraging though, it seems with high ping (when guys upload other files while playing the D3 beta) you do experience lag in your interface, moving items around your inventory and so on, but they say combat and enemy movement are surprisingly smooth even at pings of over 1000. I'm sure there's some client-side prediction going on, as was the case in WoW (like Simon says), and I played WoW with pings of 350-400 and it's really fine, so I hope D3 is going to be similar.
