Diablo 3 Beta - Feedback :}

We had a few issues when I gave the client to a mate of mine to copy. The updater wouldn't budge.

However, what I did was run launcher.exe - it then builds the game files - and wants to relaunch the updater which sticks infinitely.

What I then did was pull the 43mb installer from Blizzard's site and ran it (the way I did when I pulled the 4gb game files from them in the first place). The installer then picks up that the game files are already present (due to launcher.exe having built it) and it runs the game.

Just to add, if you're running Win7, try running the launcher as admin, then killing the Agent.exe process.

I've tried it every which way, nothing worked...
 
Maybe I am being retarded here, but how the fuck do I use a bow or melee weapon?

I am playing with doctor, and all I can use is either his blow dart or spiders, how do I change over to a bow that I am carrying?

You need to bind "basic attack" to one of your mouse buttons. That'll then default to whatever weapon you are wielding. I think there are some limitations as to which class can use which weapon (2H for Barbs, XBow's for DH, Fist weps for Monks, Voodoo dolls for WD, Orbs for Sorc etc).

The point here was rather to get the MyG community together, not just to join in a D3 community.

In other news: With patch 16 rolling out, my client has broken again, and all the fixes we've posted in this thread does not work :( :( :( I really hope Blizz gets the updating issues sorted before release.
 
I get that bud, but why not also let ppl know of a place where any SA players can just. Not just MyBB ppl.

We can do with someone who wants to help keep things up to date also. Maybe you are interested... :)

I didn't let people know because someone else already did, in this thread ;) As for keeping it up to date, I'm waaaaay too busy.. I barely get to the thread here on MyG . :(
 
All good mate. I just happen to think the more SA ppl we have that can play together the better for allot of obvious reasons.

All I want as I bigass Diablo fan, it a better experience for all :)
