Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

Kind of wish I could just tell Takealot to just send me my code before they ship it, but on the other hand I wouldn't want anyone else to open my box.

Yeah Know that feeling. But you can always boot up the started edition while you wait, too bad it ends right where the beta ended. So thats about an hours play :p

Can you carry on when you unlock the full game then? If that's the case I will definitely do that, I've seen enough of the beta sections to be honest, will probably just rush through there.

Yeah, once you hit lvl 13 your xp will show 0/0 when you unlock the full game by entering you Serial you will then start on the way to lvl 14. Only thing is while your using starter edition you can only play with other people on started but in all honesty considering how many times we finished the beta playing with other is really not high on my list for that section.

Its there.

Don't you envy me then, I haven't played beta at all so Diablo 3 from the beginning is all new to me. I get to experience all of it for the first time, you on the other hand have to redo something you have done and seen before. No surprises for you...

Yeah it's really unfair to the poor beta players :)

Yeah so I dont have to worry about missing anything, I can blaze to lvl 13 and get to the juicy new stuff. Where as you have to keep wondering what you've missed. I've seen most of the first hours random events so yeah.

Lol, yeah poor beta players. I mean its not like we already know what low level skills work best together or what enemies we will face.

Beta players, think you so supreme pfft... :) lol

lol, I got really lucky to get beta access, but I'm glad I did. Before I got in I wasn't so sure if I actually wanted the game or not, but after playing the beta for about 10 minutes I was convinced that buying it was the right choice.

It took you 10 minutes? First time my Barbarian swung his axe sending a zombie flying I was sold.

meme, web comic its all just pretty little pictures that are on the interwebs. Its all the same thing really unless you really want to get all technical lol

meme is not the same as a comic, a comic is a comic, a meme is a cultural idea.

A meme (
11px-Loudspeaker.svg.png
/ˈmiːm/
; meem)[SUP][1][/SUP]) is "an idea, behavior or style that spreads from person to person within a culture."[SUP][2][/SUP] A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes in that they self-replicate, mutate and respond to selective pressures.[SUP][3]
[/SUP]The word meme is a shortening (modeled on gene) of mimeme (from Ancient Greek μίμημα Greek pronunciation: [míːmɛːma] mīmēma, "something imitated", from μιμεῖσθαι mimeisthai, "to imitate", from μῖμος mimos "mime")[SUP][4][/SUP] and it was coined by the British evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene (1976)[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP] as a concept for discussion of evolutionary principles in explaining the spread of ideas and cultural phenomena. Examples of memes given in the book included melodies, catch-phrases, fashion and the technology of building arches.[SUP][6][/SUP]
