My Barbarian at lvl 34 just after me and Grimspoon killed the Skeleton King on Nightmare.

I had to use a shield for my DH last night strugled a bit to get going on Act2 nightmare died too often maybe time to start looking at my setup

You shouldn't be struggling too much, nightmare is still easy 90% of the time.

Having just played Torchlight I am having some issues adapting to the much smaller gold pickup radius and much smaller item boxes. It's a bit frustrating having to circle around to pick up gold which was missed and having to click a few times to pick up items on the floor.

Would have been nice if the default gold pickup radius was half a yard larger and the item boxes also just a fraction larger. Or otherwise if we could modify the default item box size.

You could always stack +Gold and Healthglobe pickup radius. No really, it is an item attribute. Thats the beauty of Diablo, you can play it the way YOU want to by building gear sets. The standards being high damage / survivability / MF+GF, but you can go as crazy as +movement speed build, or +crit chance+dmg or heck, even a +gold and healthglobe pickup radius build :D

Right now I'm going crazy with magic find. Got mine up to 50%+. :)

I am going to start putting together gear-sets from Act IV NM, just started Act II now and have a pure damage build on my wizard. Squishy as anything, but always good to know that at level 41, I am cranking out as much damage as level 50 players :D

Being a complete loot-whore, I fear once I begin putting sets together, I am going to lose my head and build 10 different sets :wtf:

Hahahaha I refuse to carry that much gear around for my mage. It is why I have dropped some dmg (buffed I was at 1500 last night) and got some more magic find items, since Isengard has become our loot giver due to his mad looting skills - he gets on average a yellow from every 2nd or 3rd blue group we kill, never mind the chests. . . .

While Co-oping with Grimspoon last night I sacrificed a bit of Damage for some extra armour and life & was able to tank him okay is, more so than my pure damage Wizard could. I love the ability to play the class they way I want and not feel penalised for it.

Thats cool, It would have been interesting if the group''s item drop and gold drop rate was shared or even put in a pot. Meaning that the over all drop rate goes way up if you have 4 players each with an average drop rate but it goes way, way up if you have 2 players with average and 2 with high drop rates.

This would have caused all kinds of issues for public games though.

Yea that is why we have a policy of sharing, especially with drops that is so obviously for a barb or a monk. Besides my belief is simple - give them enough gear and they can take the beatings whilst I do the dmg.

Oh and I have taken blizzard out of my rotation and added the lightning hydra.

I also swop the lightning blast with forked lightning in the desert since that seems to kill off the wasps the best.

I swapped Blizzard for Arcane Hydra in act IV already. Having something else doing damage helps alot. I can't wait to get Lightning hydra.

Yeah me and Spooner do the same. I drop anything thats for Witch Dr or has high int bonus, he drops anything that barb could use.

I have to say the fact that we can all chop and change like this makes it awesome, simply because blizz has managed to cater to all play styles I think.

Yeah, a massive improvement over the old system. When we started nightmare last night Spooner reworked his skills so he has no pets, something we changed quickly when we started getting swarmed by blue mobs that had some sort of vamperic vortex on them. Essentially as long as you stand on this green vortex thing the mob's health regens from the health you loose. And it doesn't fil up slow, every hit Spooner's witch doctor did was almost immediately healed. Only when I leaped in and started slashing did we kill him. Was very awesome.
