Digital "jailtime" for rage-quitters

Wish they had this in dota 2. Just don't play anymore with randoms rather joining up with insanity and friends.

What about failed connections? This is SA after all. Can't tell you how many times I have 'dropped' from games. Would hate for that to have a negative impact on me.

Nice concept, but I believe it's not that effective. It will just encourage the "rage-quitter" to stay in the game instead.

LOL well sometimes people do have off days :D

But i know a few very ARGO people that need to chill when it comes to gaming thats for sure.

People tend to take up games way to seriously, thus go agro and apesh1t after dying or whatever.

Especially those over mics, had many instances where people fought with each other over the mic, calling each others' moms names and whatwhat, simply because of a in-game kill.

Well I know that in TF2 MvM if you play on the official servers and lose connection, once you regain it the game will inform you that you have a game in progress and ask if you wish to rejoin it. If you then click no, it's counted as "rage-quitting". But in the article it said your quit percentage must surpass 15%, so I'm sure losing connection a few times wouldn't send you to jail.

FIFA 12 had this same thing where it would match you with rage quitters too, if you were a rage quitter. Im a soccer rage quitter sometimes, so now I just start scoring own goals till the end of the game if I get hacked off.

Sometime when i'm all grown up i want to have a match with some of u dota guys i'm not epicly good but i can play a bit jsut not verry good against human players yet

Good enough I suppose :)

I wonder how they'll differentiate between freezes/line-drops/fake-line-drops/actual rage quitting?

They obviously have a way of telling if a client chooses to leave the game, or loses connection to the server.

Honestly wish they had this for BF4. People quit way too easily and some people with great looking stats have a huge quit percentage. That to me is just stat padding, anything above 25% quits.
