Dishonored sequel looks to be part of the plan

Dishnored was an alright game, but it was a linear game with the illusion of being freeform. It would also be nice if your choices in the game went further than 'kill or don't kill.'

I think there was a lot of emphasis and hype about the 'replayability' of missions and that one could complete them in a different way.

I really don't like achievements/etc. and once I have played a game like this once I have no desire to replay it.

The problem is, there really isn't all that much replayability. I got halfway through my second play-through when I realised it wasn't really worth it. All of your choices in the game are basically going to amount to the same thing, either you kill or do not kill, and you are likely going to follow much the same route through levels as you did the first time. There's very little incentive to do anything differently.

I'm quite surprised that they are considering a sequel at all. I mean the story is pretty much self-contained. Corvo's story is finished, there's no need to really expand on it.

I really enjoyed the game though, I loved the fact that I can approach a mission in any way I prefer. Not being forced to complete it in a specific way at all. The art style was absolutely stunning as well.

The game was exceptionally challenging on the highest difficulty and I'm considering a re-play in the near future.

I haven't played the game myself but from what I have heard/read is good news, having new IP like this do well is good to see.

Well after I finished it without killing anyone,I replayed it throwing nades, leveling the pistol and just some satisfying sword fighting...I think it has enough re playability for one more play through
