The Good:
Regular content updates to the games. You always have access to more content, more levels, extra progression options, etc. if you can shovel out the money for it.
The Bad:
Regular content updates to the games. Everyone, except you buy the new DLC and play the new maps online and you're left out. They have better weapons, more awesome skills, etc.
The Ugly:
Back in the day, yes I'm oldish, games had patches and games had lots of FREE STUFF. Maps could be downloaded and added to your game free of charge, not charged R75 - R150 for a map.
Most games that have DLC end the game on a ambiguous note, leaving the story open or unfinished. This so they can sell you the 3+ DLC packs planned for the game. This is something I view as content that should've been included in the game, instead of charging me an additional fee for an incomplete game. Sequels I don't mind. DLC I probably won't support, ever.
Now go ahead and flame me for living in the past.

Depends on the DLC and the price. I don't buy visual items or crap like that, but DLC that adds something substantial, like extra missions might be worth considering if the price is right.
Voted: Why should I pay for stuff that used to be included in games for free?
It's not fair to people who cant afford to buy the games in the first place, when they finally get the cash to buy the game then they now have to find a way to buy the DLC. its a vicious circle and developers want to know why their games are being pirated. I mean if a game costs R400 and they make R400 worth of DLC you spending R800 on a game.
In the old days the games were longer and had more content for cheaper than this, so in my opinion, as nice as it is getting the extra's, it should be included when you buy the game.
Understandably everybody has to work but when they selling 5mil copies on day one, are you telling me they not ripping us off..
