Hi guys

I want to upgrade to play DOOM

Recommended Spec (1080p)
Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
Intel Core i7-3770 or better / AMD FX-8350 or better
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or better / AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB) or better
Up to 22GB HDD space
Steam account
Broadband internet connection

My specs atm

GTX 670 4gig
I5-3570k 3.4 ghz

What is the best way to go?

Upgrade to gtx 970

Will gtx670 sli also work?

And will my cpu be efficient?

CPU will be fine, but if you want to upgrade I would suggest going to a GTX970 if you're already thinking of it. I have slightly smaller CPU than you with a 970 HoF and playing almost everything on high/ultra at 1080p and solid 60fps.
 
Raru is shipping DooM, but takealot doesnt seem to be doing anything, mine is still on Pre-Order.... :(

lol, no, it didnt. I qouted you by mistake, was on the phone and click the wrong post....it felt quite dirty...so I quickly washed my hands, modified the post, washed my hands again....took a shower and yes, the world is fine again!

Yes, a single DVD, I thought there was no way the whole game came on one DVD. Really, fuck physical media, if it doesnt come with anything good, like the Witcher 3 for example, I'm not buying it anymore.

Yeah, exact reason I now only buy physical media for console. At least they come with Blu-Ray discs and can fit the whole game on. Pointless buying it physical to get it on release and still wait 2 days for a download, when you could have bought digital and pre-loaded.

Agreed. You can preload most games...DooM from the 11th I think, plus you got a free DOOM BFG with. I have it already, I have everything doom...but still.
