DotA 2 screenshots appear

The game looks fine the obvious draw card for this game is that is free and has a huge community awaiting its arrival
 
From those screens it looks like the item hotkeys are mapped to the 'zxcvbn' key cluster. I hope that these will be re-mappable to the number keys... I'm too spoiled by the easy interface of League of Legends, but damn it so pretty, I'm sure I'll drop LoL as soon as this one lands.

Not really, what is your system specifications? Dota 2, is being developed on a modified Source Engine. Unlike other engines it is very forgiving, scales well with old and new computers. ;)
 
I am really glad about the choice to make it free to play.
Im loving League of Legends and if it wasnt free to play I would probably never have tried it.
I hope all the heroes are well balanced and that the shop system is simple to use.

As far as I know Dota 2 will have an once-off fee? :wtf:
 
GUI seems similar to HoN but a bit simpler and graphics are lighter and crisper if it makes sense, things look more simple than HoN which i personally like, dunno if others will though
 
im with F1ve_Claw on this one, looks like we sticking to HoN Right Dragonic? BTW my MMR is more than yours :P
