Dota 2

saturday night i had a 6 loss streak :(

4 loss streak :( Saturday Night/Sunday morning (after midnight )

Ye it happens, kept play SD or AR games against teams that pick Riki, Drow, BH etc and we ended up with crappy heroes.....

I have a 1 game winning streak (last night) hehehehe

I've decided few weeks ago, if I see Riki, Drow, Sniper, BH picks... then I pick something gay as well. Usually a Drow/Sniper gets picked quickly then I just go for Riki/BH/Slark... haven't lost one doing it this way. Other times we end up losing very badly... just got gatvol.

Last night someone picked drow and I went with Bloodseeker. Had good fun.. loved it when i'd Ulti Drow and she tries running away with Shadowblade "whistling:

Also lol'd a couple of times at Lycan, he'll pop his ulti, i'll pop mine on him, then run away from him... without him noticing he is killing himself hahahahahaha... giggel ek alweer

did well considering we were trailing 18-7 - http://dotabuff.com/matches/226495215

That is when you play all pick to counter like that but in Single draft and All Random that luxury sadly does not exist.

I dont play All Random... cause i haven't played all the heroes yet. So couldn't be bothered with it. Unfortunately i have been a bit lucky with SD where i get the odd Drow option, but yep agreed, not lekker when you that happens in SD.

Yip although the last match we had revenge. I took QOP mid against a sniper. We had a Skeleton King and Ursa. So the three of us took Roshan before the game started even. The Ursa ended with 20 kills no deaths. We raxed all the baracks and finished the game in under 30 minutes. I gave the sniper hell mid, and Ursa came to gank him every now and then. Here is the match check the gold and farm difference between the two sides: http://dotabuff.com/matches/226576024

Noob development week 1: I am a bot slayer! (well, the dumb ones)

After almost a full week of having Dota 2 now, I can safely say that the easy bots are my biatches. So far I have come to love 2 heroes in particular (Axe and Luna), as they are the only heroes I haven't died yet with. The in game build guides helps a moerse lot, as the items are still confusing as hell. But at least I know now what to buy at the beginning. It's choosing where you go within the mid-game that still stumps me.

Also, and yes this is a very noob question, but how the hell do you deny creep kills? The last hit thing is coming along fine (need a lot more practice though), but I don't know how to deny...:wtf:

All in all, not a bad start if I say so myself. I'm not yet ready to face you guys yet, but...soon

You will have to turn it on in the console, the command is:

dota_force_right_click_attack 1

Dont worry about not facing us yet, had a kak night last night. played 4 games only won 1, 2 of the games we were either 3v5 or 4v5. Think i'll give this game a little break this week and play something else :)

You don't have to change it in the console. The default button is 'A' and then leftclick the target you want to deny.
Here's how denying works:
You can only deny when

Creeps:
- have less than 50% hp left

Towers:
- have less than 133 hp left

Heroes: (this is a bit more complicated)
- Only when the hero currently has a Damage Over Time spell on him and his hp is below 1%(? not sure about that but very very low) and this doesn't work for all damage over time spells. So denying heroes comes with experience

I prefer the right click deny. works a bit better than using the default attack key.
