Dota 2

I see a new trend now, Russian and Romanian players joining our servers, intentionally feeding or quitting and abandoning.
Oh and if anyone wants to trade I have some items I want to get rid of (International stuff)

Had that today. Was running in a 4-man today on an SA server, and we pugged a Russian. He kept speaking in Russian, and insisted we learn Russian when we asked him to speak English. Dafuq?

The Romanians may have something to do with tonight's SA vs Romania game. Scouting the competition, perhaps?

So who watched SA vs Romania last night?

I was listening to RidditZ, the afrikaans caster. Ho-ly shit that guy was entertaining. I couldn't stop laughing

Damn, did you watch using the dota 2 client or was it streamed through a website?

Through dota 2. There is absolutely no reason for me, with my 1meg line, to watch it on twitch when I can watch 60 fps 1080p in game :).
The game was streamed through Twitch on polarflukes channel

Hahaha Thanks Weeman. Appreciate it :)

Regards
RidditZ

:D Keep it up man. I'd like to follow your casting somehow, I know there isn't a whole lot of SA dota going on at the moment but I'd like to be kept in the loop when your casting. Do you perhaps have a twitter account? I liked your facebook page but I'm not extremely active on facebook.

We need more of the SA team to compete internationally it is the only way that they will get better and more competitive....

This was kind of a big deal for us though. They announced this match before the first leg of DGL this year. I think it was in march or something. But I agree, the more international games we play the more we will improve

I was quite surprised to see the amount of organised Dota2 that goes on in SA! Is there a community site or something that announces the upcoming matches? News about teams etc? A JoinDota type vibe...

I was going through some the DGL stuff, there's a lot of teams! It really seems to me that Dota2 is big enough in SA to justify something like JoinDota.

Comps is mainly thru DGL, And friendly Games is organised thru the SA channel in Dota 2 chat as well.
