Dragon Age *possible spoilers*

ouch - I have problems even on normal, I don't wanna know what he is like on hard. I suggest you do like the Romans in Asterix and run alot :)
 
To that other person asked for the picture moms cable is missing in action will try and find it so I can upload the pic.
 
Phew I'm enjoying the game immensely. It can get really hard though on normal, and health potions a so few. Glad I missed the spoilers in earlier pages, I'd hate that person forever. :mad:
 
Anyone manage to beat Flemmeth yet? I just can't seem to beat her, keep getting my ass handed to me. :( I have even lowered the difficulty to easy, but to no avail, I just cannot seem to do it.

Wow I haven't even reached flemmeth yet, sounds like she is a Biatch of note lol.

I am taking my time with this game want it to last at least for a nother 3 weeks or so, I play only an hour or 2 a day max! I am still in redcliffe castle =P

I asked the same question in the other thread. I have decided for now to doing some other things and come back at a higher level.
 
I didn't have much trouble with Flemmeth, beat her on the first try on normal, although it was an extremely close shave with my whole party wiped except for my rogue with a sliver of health that just managed to finish her off. Love this game, you get through a fight like that and you want to high five yourself ;)

As for tactics:
Wynne healing everyone and buffing
Sten with a 2-handed sword I found with +10 dragon dmg and blood dragon armour
Main warrior with shield and Warden's armour from Soldier's peak. Lots of taunt etc. and enough constitution to survive getting picked up and chewed on.
Lelliana backstabbing when she wasn't getting kicked in the head and running away and pelting Flemmeth with arrows when she tried to stun the party.

You can forget about using most of your shield bashes, etc. as they have no effect, so just focus on staying alive and getting as much damage in as possible, and keep any passive effects that stop knockdowns on. I used some poisons on Lelliana's weapons, not sure if that gave me any edge as Flemmeth resists everything.

Just wait till you follow the andraste's ashes quest arc after redcliffe, the high dragon you can summon there will **** you up properly :) Still haven't killed that bastard, and luckily it doesn't seem to be required to complete any quests..
 
Ok got it done this time. Got Wynne to cast cone of cold and shale to use fist bash and the rest to bash at her while frozen and she went down easy. Being frozen help a lot. This was on easy, the battle on normal was too hard for me.

What lvl were you when you attempted fighting her? My main character is a lvl 10 mage specialising in arcane warrior (which is totally awesome :D) and I had Wynne healing and Sten and Alistair backing me up, but we couldn't even take half of her health.
 
In general the boss BOSS battles are pretty tough, you would be very lucky to get them done on first attempt. I struggled with Flemeth for quite a while on Normal at level 12, but I was eventually the victor =)

You need a cohesive group and solid strategy for taking on those kinds of foes, select all right click won't end well =)

Level 15, but not leveling my main character anymore till I get the assasin and duelist specializations unlocked. I unlocked the bard and berzerker ones.
 
I still need to go and face Flemmith. Once I'm done with my current quest I'll give it a go. I'm lv.11 atm using the Blood Dragon Armor. I just need to get a better two-hander.
 
How the hell are some of you Lvl 15 already when you only had like a day headstart on me? I'm not even Lvl 9 yet. But anyway ...... those ruins are not very friendly are they :eek:
