Dragon's Dogma coming to PC

Yeah healing mage is a need, Switched from Fighter to Mystic knight, like having the nice allround abilities, pawn is a ranger but she keeps switching to her daggers instead of staying back and using her bow, probably screwed her up when creating her. Lvl 37 atm, not very far with the main quest so have not fought any cockatrice's yet, so thanks for the tip.

My pawn combo, is me as tank, a warrior to help with dmg and distracting big creatures so I can climb on them, ranger with some nice aoe abilities and quick killing skills, then a mage with healing and enchanting abilities, in some circumstances I help with fire enchanting whilst the mage heals or casts other spells.

Game is awesome, and it only gets better, 26 hours in and still not tired of playing it, plus it's the only game I have played since it's release :D

Lvl 37 already?! Nice, guess who's pawn I'm recruiting tonight. (Was lower lvl when I checked yesterday).

Mystic Knight is awesome, definitely my favourite vocation in the game and why I levelled to 25 with Sorcerer for the augments. Going to level until 50 with Assassin and then I will go to Mystic Knight until 75. Will decide then of I'm gonna stick with Mystic Knight or switch to Magick Archer for Dark Arisen. This time I'm going to make sure I am at least lvl 100 before even attempting to go to Bitterblack Isle. Struggled and eventually gave up on PS3 when I went there at lvl 75(ish).

Yeah, I don't think I can get tired of DD. I have finished it 4 or 5 times on PS3 and I'm still enjoying every second of it. If they decide to port to new consoles I will buy it again and enjoy it again as well.

Edit: Is anyone else's sound in-game also really soft? I have to turn up the volume on my speakers quite a bit to properly hear everything even though the sound is at max volume in both windows and the game itself. I sometimes enjoy listening to music while gaming but can't do so with DD since even with the music volume at 5% in media player it completely overpowers the game's audio.

Ok cool, glad it's not just me. Hopefully a patch will address this minor issue at some point.

Finished the game, but didn't know there was actually a "beloved" mechanic in the game.... Might restart on easy and complete it again just to rectify that.

What about the Dark Arisen content. Did you finish that as well? Doesn't make sense that you can finish everything so quick. Also there is a new game + mode.

I dunno man, it just seems that you rushed it to me. My first playthrough was almost 70 hours on the PS3 and that was before Dark Arisen was out. What level were you when you finished it? How much time did you spend exploring the end game Everfall? You need to be at least lvl 100 for Bitterblack Isle to not be soul crushingly difficult, I struggled with a lvl 75 char on PS3, unless they toned it down, but I doubt that.

Ok cool, thought something sounded off. :p

Just make sure you are a decent level (I suggest 100, but you can give it a shot earlier) and have enough healing materials and decent gear when going to Bitterblack Isle. That place can be a bitch.

Will do, lvl 49 atm so still have some ways to go

Yeah 49 seems alright for a first playthrough of the game. Think I was usually at the 50 - 60 mark when I went for the end. Going to try for 75 this time so I can do Bitterblack Isle about halfway through new game +.

Ok now I think i finished it, when I load game I need to begin again, now I can just relax and do everything in the game, this initial run was just to complete the game before I have to go back to college vryday. By the way, do you keep your gold from your previous playthrough?

Aah ok, that makes sense. Can understand you wanting to finish it while you still have a lot of time to play it.

Yeah, you keep pretty much everything when going to new game +. I think the only things that don't carry over are quest items.

I'm enjoying it again, played it on 360 and got it with PS+ on PS3.

Using magic archer mostly this time, failed a mission already because i walked into an ambush with a crazy high enemy that took out everyone in two hits, I ran away and failed.
