Early access games thread

Everybody should ask Frankie to do promo's for their games...if the game is good that is. Have a look at the earlier series of vids for the game.

I play inverse Prison Architect everyday trying to keep my family and property as secure as possible...dont need this.
hehehe, this has been one of those games thats been on my radar for a while now, but I got enough atm, will probably get it next time it goes on sale somewhere...although, thats a great sale.

I am too lazy to search, but I think I remember a thread here on MyG about it.

EDIT: Here you go.

Came across while going through my queue, looks quite interesting.

Fishing Planet - I had quite a bit of fun on Sega Bass Fishing back in the day, curious to see this actually.

If anyone likes the old Theme Park game or the Rollercoaster Tycoon series, then check out Parkitect, looks really cool, not a fan of the "pre-alpha" tag, but the game is in a decent state from some Lets Plays I've seen.

Parkitect is a business simulation game that charges you with the construction and management of theme parks!

Simply put, you build the rides and manage the parks, and management is key! The parks need planning, more planning than just where to put that crazy rollercoaster. Lay down the infrastructure to remove trash and deliver supplies to the shops quickly and efficiently. Hire staff to run your shops, rides and attractions, and be sure to keep them happy.

Pretty sure the next early access game I will try will be ARK: Survival Evolved, it seems a lot more promising than the other early access games.

I actually picked up a copy of ARK right when it first came out but it seemed so horribly optimised that I haven't been able to play it properly yet. Is that still the case, does it still run very poorly?

Otherwise I picked up Subnautica over the weekend and it by comparison is not only a beautiful game, but it's beautifully optimised as well. I've only sunk 2 (hah, not intended :p) hours into the game so far but I'm very eager to play it a lot more! :)

If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, do it now! It's still on special for 20% off for another 11 hours.

It is a real cool game indeed. I come back to it every now and then, still need to since last major update. If you ever wanna see what they (the devs) are up to, take a gander at their Trello board. They keep everything logged on there so they keep everything quite transparent which is quite refreshing.
