Its all nice and what not but there are more serious shit happening in the world now. Lots of conflicts and revolutions that aren't being reported. I mean how many of you know that egypt currently in their second revolution basically straight after the first? Or that syrias war is spreading into other countries or about greece's nazi golden dawn movement that is gaining political power?

Fair enough that media coverage is a bit overly focused on these kinds of things; however at the end of the day people are creatures that focus on the little things more than the big picture. We need to see things that we can relate to in order to care.
Not everyone can relate to the horrors and inhumanity of War; but we can all relate to a young person struggling with the revelation of a secret that will change everyone's perception of them forever.
