I am astounded by how many people know the date the world will end. They are all now struggling, because there time line was wrong.

Also these specific people seem to be very focused on death, destruction and the end of all thing. It is a sucky way to live. God never said: Follow me and be miserable waiting for your end. or I just mist that part of the Bible.

In the end though no one knows anything. This the underlining cause of all human reaction to such things, and we want to know everything, so we can control it. This is the same reason most people don't like religion cause it means it is out of your control.

The world jumps at anything new. Look at the 2012 thing. Everyone jump on that ship before it had even made port. Mostly driven by the media and other factors for the purpose of making money.

The good thing about saying every doomsday prediction is bullshit is that you can never be ridiculed if you are wrong, while if you're on the other side of the fence...

But to be perfectly honest, I just find it incredibly amusing how people can firstly design a theory as in OP and then secondly, gather a group of people who share your thoughts and promote the idea. Then again, Americans are retards.

Also, if this does happen, we can assume that the 21st refers to the 21st of May in Israel, which means we probably won't even have Friday to party our lives away.
 
I'm rather interested to see what happens with that specific article after May 21st.

Why are idiots so obsessed with a "doomsday" "oh no" event?

Live and let live. If it does ever come true, you won't exactly be around to say "Hah! I told you so!"
 
This has been an interesting thread. I'm a whole-hearted believer of Jesus Christ and I find such things as these to be utter nonsense.

Even if we had the exact date, what difference would it make?

Well that's kinda the thing with the end of the world. You WILL get to see it, whether you want to or not :) (Provided you're around at that time of course.)
 
What does it matter if you see it or not. We all die. Your world is ended once you are dead;)

I need to point out though - I think the date is wrong and the world has already ended - but since we are all so busy these days playing games, trying to earn enough money to live, and arguing with each other, it's very likely the Apocalypse arrived, but nobody was running around screaming, so it got bored and left, because even the Apocalypse has some pride.
