Esquire specials again

You guys should know, that buying from Esquire is most likely the worst idea in history xD lol
Although some of their pricing is decent when they run specials, the issues come when you try to RMA something, which is why I have stopped doing business with them completely.

Saving R100 and then sitting with rma issues for months...neah

Last time I bought stuff from Esquire, I got the order in, asked them to hold the stock while I made payment, I made payment, and sent the proof through but they had sold the stock to someone else. I fought with them, and they found some more for me (it was 2 xboxes), and they said come through asap before someone else sells it again so I rushed over there only to find they were all out to lunch and I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour. Then they came back but it turned out they had sold one of them to someone else already even though I had paid for it, and they had made a special mission to get it for me because I had made such a big scene of the whole thing.

Not buying from them again if I can help it. If someone makes an order, you should reserve that stock, if someone pays for it, you should definitely hold it for them. They just keep selling the same stock and the first person who gets there gets it. Then you're stuck with the problem that you've already paid for it.

Also had terrible service from them. Their main sales number normally just rings and rings. I also don't think they've grasped the concept of email, because none of their staff ever reply. On the few occasions that I've tried ordering, they've taken so long to confirm the order, that I always end up buying elsewhere.

Thanks Joker and the other chaps,

I think i will just keep this to myself in the future then, wouldn't want to cause any issues for people.

So far I have only had good experience with them, however the specials currently are not very exciting :(

I don't think it hursts posting it, there may be people that have no problem buying from them so it may still help them out.

You can sometimes get nice deals from them, but if they have limited stock of something, they oversell it, which is the problem I had

RMA with them is a major schlep, especially if you don't stay close to it.
The time and petrol it cost to replace my CPU outweighs what I paid for. :(

i have rma'd quite a few things without any issues

1,5 Tb drive was about six months old, swopped immediately no questions asked
2 gb ram, swopped immediately after it failed a memory test by their techie
dvd burner, swopped after failing 3 months into warranty

Ok let me put it this way, I do a lot more rma's than probably the whole forum combined "whistling:
Sapphire 6870 took 3 months for them to swap out and when time came to swap out they had no stock so they offered my store credit minus 30% of the sapphire cards value...I am sorry but that's just fucking retarded. How can you charge someone 30% because you don't have stock...lol Its a joke.

R.A.T 9 Still laying here, because they can't find fault with it xD lol Its completely fucked.

Razer Arctosa they can't swap out because they don't stock Razer anymore and the same 30$ bullshit story if I take store credit.

Asus Motherboard had no IO shield in the box when I bought it, phoned them and told them about it, they claim I lost it...lol

They advertise specials, I buy 5 of said item only to get to the till and get told that the price is wrong, yet its the same price listed in the email and on the shelves.

Advertise a sale, you get there and they have no stock of that item or it hasn't been packed out.

I can go on and on lol

Edit: I deal with suppliers on a daily basis and these guys are right at the bottom of the list, which is why they don't get any of my business anymore.
