So the machine is built.
Testing started, PSU dead :cry: I feel really bad now. Already phoned my suppliers boss at home and arranged for a new one which I will collect on Monday. Also upgrading him to a HX750 free of charge :)

Edit: Oh and he has a pic of the finished machine. If he posts it just don't pay attention to the cable management xD Cable management is the last step of the building process.

It should be interlinked with the building process.

Well thats how i do it anyway.. i hate messyness in my pc.

Well considering I've built hundreds of pc's, over time I've had a few out of box failures on a couple of components so I realized very quickly that it sucks having to cut cable ties, undoing all the hard work of routing cables and hiding cables because a component was dead. So now I build, I test, I cable manage.
 
I guess that makes sense.

But i hate having to switch something on especially after working for 12 hours straight on the pc and then i cannot relax And enjoy it.

Have to get back up and do wiring. :thumbdown:
 
Also i suppose when i have a mod sesh i know the components work so i can go straight to manage the cables without that worry of yours of a component not working

Yeah its different if you are only working on your own machine :) but when you have to do 5 or 6 in a day, time is of the essence.
 
Ahhh i would hate that.. i also would not like someone else to put my pc together for me. Not sure if that is just me but i like to do it myself.

If i cant do something i get a friend to help me and i watch so i can do it next time by myself..

Also if there is an issue with my pc i can easily troubleshoot it cause i have put it together myself

Edit: also with my case being modded not anyone can put it together properly.. that apllies to me too

Quick question: The game I play by far the most is StarCraft 2. Would it be a good, or very bad idea to install it on the SSD?

The only benefit as far as I know is faster load times. I have all my games on a separate drive and keep my SSD only for Windows and essential things.
