Eve Online

Your best bet is to join Eve Uni. They run practical classes for everything. I started with them way back and it was amazing! You need someone to help you climb that info cliff.

When I say practical classes I mean, join them on voice comms, fly your little ship out to a spot they give you and there they train you in the many aspects of Eve. It is a great institution.

Been playing again for 3 months now, loving it again.

Yeah i was in Eve Uni a while back. BNI has something similar with the dojo, doctrine training plans and what not.

me? I plan to just get out there. Hopefully blow more shit up the loose and then make enough iskies to keep up this habit!

I am in a pretty big South African renter corp in nullsec. We have a PVP wing that is starting up soon. We have a ton of fun ;-)

If you are not with us, then you are against us!

Planned my alt's training last night. 43 days without implants just for most of the basics and all faction frigates.

so yesterday got my 1 clone down to our system and then clone jumped to my other clone which was deep in enemy space in curse. Wow was that hair raising getting out of there. Thankfully I had all my old bookmarks, so was able to instawarp out of the station. I remembered the old rule check dscan and warp to planets then the gate, thankfully by doing that I avoided 2 mobile bubble camps...

Then after all that I decide to dock up in amarr to buy some good and got camped in by wardec targets...

Since the JF changes in Phoebe our corp has had to rely heavily on wormholes for logistical travel. This means that every day I go out and explore in my exploration ship, cloaked and quietly scanning for wormholes. When I find them they are usually wormholes with entrances into wormhole space. That space has more wormholes to find and an ominously empty local chat, you never know who is in there. I keep spamming my dscan ;-)

Spend some more time scanning down ALL the signatures in the wormhole space, furtively running from safe spot to safe spot cloaked, heart thumping in my chest.

Scan scan scan, hoping for a high sec exit.

With some luck, I find some every now and then and then let the whole corp know where to go.

The only way we have to get loot/minerals our and gear/ammo in.

Nerve wracking stuff. I love Eve ;-)

I have not played an MMO ever that makes me sweat so much and gives me so much adrenaline.

This solo kill took my heart rate through the roof. I was visibly shaking when I managed to tackle this behemoth. I remember shouting on comms that I managed to aggress a nightmare and came back in my tengu only to find him still there. When I got point on him and settled into a nice orbit it was just a matter of time. When that ship finally popped it was the biggest payday of my life, I bought a 2nd account thanks to that kill.

No other game has given me adrenaline rushes like EvE online!

look in fairness it was highsec and I think he figured he could blow me up. But when I came back with a tengu, the tears started.

What made matters worse is when he saw he was gonna loose, he tried to self-destruct. Started over heating everything and boom!

As you learn very quickly: high sec is more dangerous than null sec, a lot more.

man getting stuff down to nullsec using jump bridges has become a real pain... I needed to get my crane, scanning ship and my ratting tengu and wow jump bridge fatigue is a serious hinder...

Do you guys now if training continues when your sub runs out? I think i'm not gonna renew for December because of hectic backlog i wanna work through during my leave. That plus Elite Dangerous on the 16th.

If its a skill u intend to use in the next 2 months (ie pivotal skill) then stay subbed, else don't renew the account.
