F1 2010 and 2011

It's the normal $49 price but pre-order is 10% off. Defo worth it if you know you ARE going to buy the game.

Not sure what dl size is going to be though
 
As some have mentioned earlier in the thread, F1 2011 seems to be pretty similar, perhaps with bugs ironed out, and the inclusion of KERS, DRS, Safety car and apparently better opponent AI. Anything else that's obviously new?

I've put lots of time into 2010, great fun, and luckily I have not experienced the savegame bugs or other issues. Dirt 3 is another story, but we won't go there!

I'll wait for the reviews before I make my decision, with Skyrim, Rage and even possible D3 on the horizon this year, I need to pick carefully :)

The pics released do seem to paint a very good picture. I have read some hands on experiences, and all seem very solid. But I will also wait for a couple of reviews.

And I do agree, with so much coming, it is hard to choose where to spend your hard earned R's!

Yeah, but that wasn't made by Codemasters. They are brilliant at making racing games. GRID of a couple of years back was probably one of the best racing sims I have ever played. Awesome!

Codemasters did make it ! where did you get the idea that they didnt make f1 2009

It's not made by Codemasters. Codemasters contracted F1 2009 to Sumo Digital while they were busy with the HD versions (that ended up being 2010). Sumo Digital is also working on F1 2011 on the handheld versions.

Frankly, I enjoyed F1 2009 for what it is. Does it look as good as the console versions? Nope. Does it play like those versions? Nope. Does the save corrupt like on the console versions? Nope. That's more important for me.
 
Pretty excited as well. But not going to buy it full price. Still haven't completed 2010 and with the current deluge of big titles coming out I'll wait till it's on special on steam.

Review looks pretty good! I'm glad to hear that the annoying robotic "publicist" chick has been removed from the motorhome :)

Think I'll wait till I can read some gamer opinions here or on the Codies forum. No new tracks as far as I can tell, and I've never played online, so I'm not sure I can justify getting 2011.
 
Okay, so I ate my words and actually pre-loaded it off steam. The reviews have just been so insane I couldn't help myself. My God, with all these new games coming out over the next few months I'm going to be flat broke for Christmas. Anybody need a kidney?
