F1 2010 and 2011

Where did you hear it's browser based? You thinking BF3?
F1 2011 is lobby based like 2010 and we've had no issues playing it online
 
Hmmm... I'm having an issue all of a sardine!

Game crashes just after saying "Press Enter or Start to Begin", but only with my controller. If I press Enter it works, If I press start on controller it just hangs and crashes.

What platform and wheel are you using?
 
Using PC with a Logitech Controller, don't have a wheel (yet). :P

Strange thing is, it only started happening yesterday otherwise it's been working fine.

I also read of someone who had that problem. Apparently is started happening after some Windows updates, but after the next one it worked again.
 
Well I have it working again. Just had to go in with Keyboard, reassign all my gamepad/controller keys and select it as default controller (instead of keyboard).
Also enabled "override controller" or whatever that is and not sure what it does.
 
Glad you got it sorted :)

I noticed that I need to enter with my wheel buttons otherwise the game does not recognise the wheel from the start.
 
Never seen the AI cheat in 2010 except for a bug with release where they did not pit that got patched out.

Played quite a lot of MP in 2011 today. Great fun! Lag to internationals is a bit annoying though and some of them think its bumper cars and not F1 but a hell of a lot of fun!

I've had nothing but stress with online international races. I'm still to find a race with no 12 year olds that don't no what a brake is. Never mind brake point, turn-in point and what the difference is between race track and the grass :mad:

Spend most of my time offline, fighting with Hamilton and Alonso. :love:

you should join us in MP bud. We have a few guys in SA now that race together with no BS like you stated.

Have to say just had a few MP races with 2 other SA guys, a guy from the Netherlands and one from France and was good clean racing. Also very close
 
We will be racing a 100% F1 2011 race this Friday at 21:00

Just saw Dirt 3 and F1 2011 on sale at Steam for $25 each.

Thought I'd let the guys who said they will wait for it on special know :)
