Fans rage over BioShock Infinite box art

ok suuuure I get what they are saying....but at least it looks cool and you won't be able to look it miss. But most importantly...true fans of the series won't give a damn how the box art looks! thats not why you support a game is it??!

LOL Boycotting a awesome to be game just because of a cover... serious? If this game goes down as one of that must play games in history they will just be doing themselves a inservice... LOL.
Sure its very generic(kinda makes it look like Uncharted(not saying the game is generic please, esp since I never played it)) but saying it's terrible? That's a blind statement. It looks awesome, just doesn't look very Bioshock, that is all.

Yep, reading this reminded me of why I decided to pull out of "Gamer Culture". I am much happier just playing what I want and not give 2 fucks what anybody things of the box art or whatever the latest "OH NOES!" drama to grip the gaming world happens to be.

I propose blank leather covers for games, like old books, with only the title printed in reasonably sized characters.

Although to be perfectly honest I don't really have a problem with the Bioshock cover.

Why would you complain about box art and then boycott a game? It is a box. A game comes in it. And while you play it, it is useless to you. Perhaps the box art will clash with their curtains when it is on display on their shelves...only logical thing that I can think of.

Well, to be fair if I've got a choice I'll take the original cover any day of the week. Look & Listen used to discount their old original games whenever the budget versions released and I'd always go for the original box.

Then again, I barely buy boxed games nowadays. 90% of my collection is digital.
